Might of Nature
Sun kissed beaches, splendid skies,
Above the mountains breaking all ties,
Trees dancing of their own accord,
Singing paeans to God.
Raindrops don’t evade this forbidden land,
Beauty is endless, in glades and sand,
Covered in an envelope of mist,
These are endless treasure, impossible to list.
The earth is blessed with a window to nature’s might,
These beauties mesmerise one’s sight,
Rivers and brook endlessly murmur,
The everlasting of thunder.
But humans interrupt her hymns and songs,
And destroy her beauty with endless wrongs,
Carelessly tread on her precious gifts,
Let us endeavour to change, to shift
And wrestle with the unknown darkness
To protect the wonderful dawn,
So that the colours of natural delight
Remain untouched by the night.
