Animal Planet

Nimbling through the forest floor, While treading the thick forest land,

All I encountered was marshy ground and darkness, Huge fierce animals and dingy swampland.

In the lap of nature, but still that restlessness,

I had heard many sounds, some sweet, some scorn,

Some took me by the hand, some laid me to the ground, Some took me to the grassland, some fetched me the darkness.

To put an end to all you came, You took me to visit the dawn, I never knew what light meant.

You took me by the heart,

To meet the flowers I had never known. You made me run on the ground,

Which won't subside, I had never known.

Again darkness fell on the ground, With trembling fear, I searched for my moon, Relaxed to have you by my side. You told me, dawn would come soon.

Deep inside I thought you were caressing me,

You gave me the memories,

Enough for my entire life.

You gave me the strength, to thrive on.

I wish we had a bit more time, To laugh out loud and tell the world we can fight, But I know we don't have time, And this relationship could never ever sublime.
