Bettiah: The East Champaran district administration on Sunday intensified vehicle-checking drive in the adjoining areas of other districts and neighbouring Nepal as part of its elaborate arrangement ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Motihari on April 10.

The drive was necessitated as part of protocol because East Champaran shares its border with four districts and Nepal. The police are also scouring the hotels and keeping a tab on unwanted movements.
