Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi on Thursday urged businessmen to follow the Uttar Pradesh model of co-ordinating with the state government and to become tech-savvy.
Modi, addressing a group of traders, said the power situation would improve in two years as the state gets 50 per cent of production from the second phase units in Barh and Kahalgaon.
Addressing students at Raja Singh College, Modi said the government was committed to opening an engineering college in each district headquarters, polytechnic college in each sub-division and industrial technical institutes in each block in five years. He added the government would spend Rs 15,000 crore during the current fiscal to improve the standard of education.
He also laid foundations of different projects and inaugurated various schemes.
