Congress MLC Dilip Choudhary (left) and JDU's Rajkishore Kushwaha (right) come to blows at the entrance to the Legislative Council on Wednesday over liquor, on a day Bihar MLAs took a vow not to drink to make prohibition successful. The choicest expletives reverberated around the Council walls. "I will cut your tongue," screamed Rajkishore. The House marshal came to separate them by when some BJP legislators also stepped in to whisk Rajkishore away to another part of the building. A few legislators said Rajkishore loves his drink and Dilip, jovial by nature, was teasing the JDU MLC over prohibition. "Dilip told Rajkishore not to worry about his drinks as he has two bottles of whisky which he would give to the JDU legislator. Dilip and a few other MLCs had earlier teased Rajkishore asking him how would he enjoy his evenings without liquor after partial prohibition came into force," a BJP MLC told The Telegraph. "How dare you say such things to me? I do not drink," Rajkishore shouted. "Chief minister Nitish Kumar is my God. I will abide by whatever he says." Dilip countered: "He is a drunkard. Everybody knows it. How can he behave like this with me? He has gone mad. I will complain about him to Nitish Kumar." Both of them calmed down after being taken to different corners of the Council building. Text by Dev Raj, picture by Deepak Kumar
