| Women take part in Ratham Sobhayatra, the procession to mark the sesquicentenary celebration of Swami Vivekananda’s birth, in Bhagalpur on Sunday. Members of Ramakrishna Pathchakra, Bihar Bengali Association, Lions Club and Rotary Club took out the procession organised by Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Bhava Prachar Parishad of Belur Math, Bengal. A chariot, travelling from Bengal, visited various parts of the district after reaching Bhagalpur on Saturday. The procession’s organising committee president, LK Sahay, said the chariot would stay in Bhagalpur till Monday before leaving for Munger on Tuesday. Ramakrishna Ashram, Patna, president Swami Satyapriyananda said: “The aim of organising the programme was to take Swami’s philosophy to the youth. His ideology can influence the youth to shoulder responsibility in developing the nation.” A member of the organising committee said a cultural programme was organised on Sunday evening.
