In lookout for gem

Chief minister Nitish Kumar checks out a piece of jewellery at Patliputra Exotica on Sunday. He inaugurated the National Gems and Jewellery Exhibition organised by Swarnkar Samaj Vikas Avam Shodh Sansthan, which  will conclude on Tuesday.

Chief minister Nitish Kumar checks out a piece of jewellery at Patliputra Exotica on Sunday. He inaugurated the National Gems and Jewellery Exhibition organised by Swarnkar Samaj Vikas Avam Shodh Sansthan, which 
will conclude on Tuesday. 

Nitish welcomed the move stating that this was the first time, an exhibition on gems and jewellery had been organised in the state on such a mass scale on one platform. He added that the latest and hi-tech jewellery machines, which have been exhibited, will be helpful for goldsmiths and jewellery makers of Bihar. There are 110 shops who have exhibited their jewellery, with a majority of them not belonging to Bihar. Swarnkar Samaj Vikas Avam Shodh Sansthan national president Kiran Verma and its Bihar unit general secretary Ashok Kumar Verma, were also present.
