Jagdishpur MLA Dinesh Kumar Singh (right) on dharna outside 1 Aney Marg in Patna on Monday. Demanding the declaration of drought in Bhojpur district (his home district), the RJD legislator sat on the dharna from 10.30am-2pm. He also undertook an indefinite hunger strike under the Rajendra Prasad statue. He was detained for his strike outside the chief minister’s residence, a prohibited area. Police took him away to the Sachivalaya station, where he continued his hunger strike.
