At least four persons were injured in a clash between two groups in the Defence Colony area in the state capital on Sunday afternoon.

Police officers told The Telegraph that the clash broke out between the two sides after the relatives of a girl allegedly beat up a boy, with whom she was having an affair and had fled a month ago.

Three persons have so far been detained for interrogation.

The police added that the situation, which comes under the jurisdiction under Kankerbagh police station, was normal.
