Allahabad, Feb. 8 (PTI): Four persons from Aurangabad district of Bihar were killed and another seriously injured when a vehicle in which they were travelling collided head-on with a speeding truck here, police said.

The incident occurred in Uttaraon police station area where the speeding truck hit the van, killing the driver and three of the passengers on the spot, while one person sustained injuries, police said.

A family of five brothers, they were taking their eldest sibling to Gurgaon for treatment of a heart disease, who died before the surgery could take place. The family members were returning to their native village to perform the last rites of their brother.
