Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ashok Choudhary (centre) administers oath to members of the party and its affiliate Seva Dal to work hard to strengthen the organisation at Sadaquat Ashram in Patna on Sunday. The members observed the 130th foundation day of the Indian National Congress and the 92nd foundation day of the Seva Dal. Choudhary urged the members to spread the policies and principles of the Congress across the state to convince all sections of society, especially the poor, minorities, Dalits and Backward Classes, that the party cares for them. BPCC spokesperson Ranjit Kumar Mishra said according to tradition, Choudhary handed over the party flag to Seva Dal's state chief organiser Santosh Srivastava for a year.
