RJD chief and former Bihar chief minister Lalu Prasad reaches CBI court at Kutchery, Ranchi, for his hearing in four fodder scam cases on Friday morning. An uncharacteristically silent Lalu appeared before three special courts in connection alleged fraudulent withdrawals from treasuries over 20 years ago. In RC 68A/96 (Rs 37.7 crore from Chaibasa treasury), Lalu appeared before the court of CBI judge SS Prasad, for which the next date is June 28. In RC 47(A)/96 (Rs 97 lakh from Doranda treasury), he appeared in the court of CBI judge Pradeep Kumar, in which trial would continue on Saturday. In RC 38 A/96 (Rs 3.31 crore from Dumka treasury) and RC 64A/96 (Rs 90 lakh from Deoghar treasury), he appeared before CBI judge Shivpal Singh. Next dates in these cases are June 17 and 22.
