Experts on Wednesday stressed the need of regional climate study and crop insurance to boost the agriculture sector.
On the concluding day of the 3rd India Crop Summit, 2013, Saeed Pentura, a researcher from Bihar Agriculture University, said: “If the state wants to boost agriculture, the weather and the climate data cannot be ignored.
R.K. Singh, the deputy general manager of Central Bank of India, said: “For crop insurance, farmers should get Kisan Credit Cards.”
