How to reach: The campus is 5km from Dakbungalow roundabout. One can take an autorickshaw, cycle rickshaw up to Gandhi Maidan. From Gandhi Maidan one can take bus, autorickshaw or cycle rickshaw to the college.
Must-know places within the campus
The offices: Entering the college, one will find the main administrative building. It houses the principal’s chamber and offices of various sections on the ground floor. Opposite the administrative block is the college’s main ground on the eastern side.
Students’ sections (with directions): The college has five blocks for mathematics and statistics, physics, chemistry, botany and zoology and geology sections. The physics block is on the northern side of the main ground. The botany and zoology blocks are on the northeastern side of the main ground. The chemistry block is on the western side from the administrative block. The geology block is behind the physics block on the northern side of the college facing the Ganga. The mathematics and statistics block is on the western side, opposite the administrative block.
Canteen: It is located near the mathematics and statistics department near the administrative block.
Tummy grumbles
The college canteen serves, tea, coffee, cold drinks, snacks such as samosa, bread pakora, biscuits, chips and other items.
Library: First floor of the administrative block.
Must-know people
For any administrative work, students can approach their respective department heads or college principal. For identity cards and migration certificates there is an office that has different sections on the ground floor of the administrative building.

Students photocopy their documents from Deepika Xerox Centre opposite the Wheeler Senate Hall, around 100m from the college’s main gate.

Students’ sections (with directions): Most of the academic section is at the main building, which runs classes for arts subjects. Undergraduate geography classes are held at the geography postgraduate department, situated 30m from the main entrance gate. Language subjects such as English, Hindi and Urdu are run from the language block on the west of the main ground.
Canteen: None within the college campus.
Tummy grumbles
Since there is no canteen, students visit the makeshift eateries outside the college campus for snacks. Students also visit the Subraj Hotel.
Library: Gyan Mandir is located between Minto and Jackson hostels. It is 150m east of the administrative building.

None. However, the Bachelor of Business Administration students have a dress code of black trousers, white shirt and red tie. For girls, it is white kurta and black pyjama. The male BCA students wear black trousers and blue shirt, while the girls wear black pyjama and blue kurta.

Magadh Mahila College, north of Gandhi Maidan
How to reach: The campus is one-and-a-half kilometres from Dakbungalow roundabout. One can take an autorickshaw, cycle rickshaw or bus up to Gandhi Maidan. It is a 10-minute walk from Gandhi Maidan to the college.
Must-know places within the campus
The offices: While entering the college campus, one can find the administrative building on the west of the basketball ground. The offices are being run from the administrative building. Adjacent to the administrative office is the principal’s chamber.
Students’ sections (with directions):The arts block of the college is on the ground floor of the administrative building, while the science block is on the first floor of the building. The commerce classes are held on the ground floor of the building. The vocational courses are also run from the ground floor.
Library: On the ground and first floor of the administrative block.
Must-know people
For any administrative work, students can approach the respective department heads or college principal. For identity cards and migration certificates there is an office on the ground floor of the administrative building. There is also a physical training instructor on the ground floor.

Canteen: It is near the administrative building. All the chit-chat and “political” discussions happen over tea, coffee, cold drinks, snacks such as samosa, bread pakora, biscuits and chips.

Stationery is available at various stores at Kargil Chowk.
Dress code
None. However, BCom students dress in green kurta and yellow salwar with yellow dupatta. BBA students have to wear pink/white check kurta with white salwar and white dupatta.
