The HRD department would also organise a number of events like a national-level science exhibition. National Book Trust would also host a book fair as a part of the event.
R.S. Singh, the HRD department deputy director, said: “We have invited 250 schoolchildren from other states to take part in the science exhibition. Around 1,500 students from the state would also take part in the event to showcase their scientific abilities.”
A source said this would be the first such exhibition in Patna in a decade.
Though the official programme would conclude on November 13, some of the events would continue till November 16, added the source.
Singh said all the events would be held at pandals at Gandhi Maidan. They are being erected at present.
