Patna, Nov. 7: Four armed bikers today looted Rs 72,000 from a Patna City resident, punching holes into the security claims of police.

Ravi Kumar, a resident of Marufganj area, was looted around 1pm at the Vachaspati Nagar area under Bahadurpur police station. He was on his way home on his motorbike after collecting the amount from some people.

“Ravi works in an iron factory. The four men on two motorbikes were following him. As Ravi approached the area, the criminals stopped him. They snatched the money at gunpoint and fled,” a police officer said.
