Bhagalpur, March 26 (PTI): Four guns and a pistol were recovered on Monday at Babupur village under Pirpainti police station in the district.

Police sources said the men-in-uniform raided a house in the village after getting information that the firearms were concea- led there.

The house is owned by an alleged smuggler of firearms. The arms were found in the house and seized.

The weapons were smuggled into Bhagalpur from Bengal recently, a police officer said.

He added that further investigation was on and the criminals would be arrested.
