Students take part in a painting competition organised by Kilkari Bihar Bal Bhavan in association with Sanjay Gandhi Biological Park on the World Butterfly Day at Patna zoo on Saturday. A PowerPoint presentation on the life cycle of butterfly - how it metamorphoses from a caterpillar - was shown to the 150 participating students. The students took a tour of the zoo. Zoo director S Chandrashekhar said: 'Butterflies are a part of our nature. But we have done nothing to save the creature or appreciated its beauty. From now on, every year we will celebrate this day.
