Students at the global youth conclave organised by the NGO Bhoomika Vihar in collaboration with the Canadian high commission at a city hotel on Sunday. Students from six states took part in the discourse on gender inequality. Harvard South Asia Institute's country director Sanjay Kumar and Patna mayor Sita Sahu were among the dignitaries present. Students raised interesting questions related to gender inequality, such as why women - and not men - were forced by families to take contraception measures and why dress codes at colleges were meant only for girls. A skit by Chanakya National Law University students focusing on issues brides face during weddings, an ordeal grooms are spared, was a highlight.
