The Assembly budget session will start on February 25 with an address by Governor Ram Nath Kovind.
The economic survey of the state for 2015-16 would also be tabled that day.
The survey outlines the broader economic parameters of the state and also highlights the growth rates in different sectors.
The budget would be tabled on February 26, the second day of the budget session.
Finance minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui would table his maiden budget.
This year’s budget, said a finance department source, would reflect the seven resolves of the Nitish Kumar government.
The budget would also reflect, added the source, the state government’s plan of mobilising resources through its internal resources to make up for the revenue loss it would incur in wake of prohibition on country liquor from April 1.
The budget session would continue till April 4 and there would be 23 working days, according to the sources.
