Kitchen or domestic gardens are always beneficial, as they help in keeping the environment fresh and cool. Whenever we feel upset or exhausted, attending to the plants and flowers or listening and watching birds takes away the fatigue.

Similarly, growing some healing plants in our gardens is an added advantage. Healing plants cultivate healthy resources and work as alternative medicine in this modern era because most of the medicines are derived from plants, herbs or shrubs.

Living and breathing in the company of these plants, consuming leaves, flowers and stems act as preventive measures to common diseases such as cold, cough, asthma, fever, gout, high blood pressure, acidity and indigestion among others.

Here are a few ways through which you can improve the feng shui of your home or workplace with the addition of plants.

Health factor

With plants at your home you can actually evoke the energy by adding various patterns and branching lines to your interior space.

You can choose the fabrics and artwork according to your choice.

Wood element

Keeping wood elements or plants are meant to be good for your family, wealth and various other areas.

Bamboo is thus considered to be a lucky plant to be kept in your home.

You can even add to the prosperity of your house by placing nine coins in the bottom of a houseplant in the wealth area of any section of your house.

Clutter at your home always puts you down, so make sure whenever or wherever you are placing your plants, properly clean the entire space to get the full and desired advantage of the plant.

Placement

You can protect yourself from negative energy by placing plants in front of sharp angles or corners. They act like secret arrows to defend you from all the negative energy.

At your workspace, if you notice your desk blocking the path of chi coming from the office door, a small potted plant placed on the far side of your desk, between you and the door, will act as a buffer.

Tall plants with a vertical shape can help you from being attacked by the negative energy coming from the door.

Water chi

If you notice excessive water chi anywhere in your house, especially in the laundry room or bathroom, then you can place some plants over there to nullify the side effects.

Tall plants are especially used for this purpose. Some trailing plants should not be used for this as they grow in the downward direction.

You can also place some plants around the swimming pool or in the relationship position to balance the negative effect of water chi.

Herbal cure

Through herbal remedies we can keep ourselves healthy and strong.

Herbs are nature’s medicines that were specifically designed for us through many years by selective mutation, just as we evolved around them to be compatible in nature.

So, if we are looking to cure ourselves it will be from the knowledge to use these herbs and plants and not from buying foreign chemical molecules to introduce into our bodies, which were never designed for them.

Bamboo plant

If you are not sure whether you can keep the plants or not, then simply placing a bamboo can also serve the purpose since this plant requires the least care as compared to rest of the indoor plants.

Photograph

If even keeping a bamboo plant seems tough, then to get the benefits of a wooden element you can place an image or a photograph of a plant or tree. But remember, it should portray a growing plant and not a withered or decaying one.
