Sushil's GST pat

• PATNA: Deputy chief minister Sushil Kumar Modi, who heads the finance department, claimed that goods worth Rs 1,250 crore were sold in Bihar during Dhanteras. The higher middle classes purchased Rs 600 crore worth of electronic items, and also vehicles and jewellery to the tune of Rs 350 crore was purchased. He said the sales in Bihar alone ridicules claims of an economic slowdown after introduction of GST.

Vehicle auction

• PATNA: The district administration will auction vehicles that were seized with liquor. The auction would take place at Miller High School ground at 10.30am on November 6, in which 22 vehicles would be auctioned.
