Patna: The 18th joint annual conference of the Indian Epilepsy Association and Indian Epilepsy Society - ECON 2017 Patna - will be held from February 17 to February 19, and will be inaugurated by Governor Ram Nath Kovind. Patna: Engineer services coordination committee, Bihar, demanded security for engineers working on different government projects across the state . Committee secretary general Kamla Kant Sharma accused chief minister Nitish Kumar and chief secretary Anjani Kumar Singh of being "happy" when engineers are attacked by contractors.

Patna: Secretary of road construction department Pankaj Kumar was named secretary of food and consumer protection department, said an official notification issued by the general administration department on Tuesday. Ganga Kumar, managing director of Bihar state food and civil supply corporation, will be the secretary of the planning and development department.

Patna: Professor Uttam Kumar Singh, founder director general of Indian Institute of Business Management, was awarded a lifetime achievement award by Computer Society of India for his services.

Patna: Punjab national bank and Jeevika on Tuesday distributed over 5 crore loan under credit linkage model to 1001 women self help groups at JJ College, Bihta. PNB circle manager Rakesh Gupta said the move will help in the financial inclusion of the groups.

Patna: General manager, food corporation of India, Sandip Kumar Pandey on Tuesday said that as Bihar has adopted the Scheme of decentralised procurement, the corporation can procure paddy from the state only after it allows the corporation to do so.
