Pistols seized
Gopalganj: An Uttar Pradesh anti-terrorism squad (ATS) seized a cache of arms and arrested 10 people from the Bihar-UP border on Monday. The team also seized two vehicles.
ATS officer Rajiv Sahni said 16 pistols, four rifles and 30 magazines were seized during the raid.
Liquor arrest
Muzaffarpur: Police seized 20 cartons of liquor from Berai village in Hathoti police station on Sunday night. One person, Akhilesh Kumar was arrested, police said.
Arms found
Chhapra: The GRP recovered 33 semi-manufactured pistols from a bag in the general bogey of Pawan Express at Gautam Sthan railway station on Sunday, GRP station house officer Sunil Kumar Dwivedi said.
Road rage
Patna, Jan. 9: A high court single bench today granted anticipatory bail to Jacky Yadav, brother of Rocky Yadav, the Gaya road-rage accused. Jacky has been accused of shielding his brother and tampering with evidence.
Toilet reply
Patna: A high court division bench on Monday directed the government to reply within four weeks on alleged financial irregularities in the construction of toilets for every household scheme.
