Patna: BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi on Friday said deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav's remark, that Lalu Prasad was seated on the ground at Prakash Utsav because he is rooted to the ground, was in fact a direct jibe at chief minister Nitish Kumar insinuating that he (Nitish) was a " hawa-hawai" politician.

Modi also dismissed allegations made by the Congress that the PMO had cut out the names of leaders to be seated at the dais beside the Prime Minister.

CM puja

Patna: Chief minister Nitish Kumar visited Manguraha forest guest house at Gounaha block in West Champaran district on Saturday. He visited the Sofa Mandir for a puja to wish for peace and prosperity in the state.

Boy shot

Motihari: Akash Kumar, a Class X student and son of Rakesh Kushwaha of Sheetalpur village, was shot dead while he was relaxing on his balcony on Friday.
