English course

Patna: Students, who want to apply for specialised certificate courses in English from Cambridge University, can now do so without travelling to UK. Englit, the training partner of Cambridge English Language Assessment, started its authorised centre in Bihar on Tuesday.

Close to 150 students from Patna University, St Xavier's College and International Business College attended the inaugural ceremony.

Munger: Office-bearers of the Munger district unit of Bihar Police Association have threatened an agitation if the additional superintendent of police (operations) Navin Kumar was not removed from anti-Maoist operations.

Seizure

Patna: The drug control administration on Tuesday seized drugs worth around Rs 5 lakh from six medical stores on Govind Mitra Road. The shops were found to violate several norms, including not being able to produce purchase bills of most of the medicines.
