Patna: City-based neuro-physician Dr Binay Karak has been awarded Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP) by the Royal College of Physicians, London. 

A press note issued by the neuro-physician shared this information on Sunday.

Red letters

Muzaffarpur: Traders of Ahiyapur area in the town downed their shutters on Monday after they found extortion letters pasted in the market area, allegedly by Naxalites. The posters also mention ed names of the traders who are supposed to cough up money to the Maoists as levy.  

Gun unit raid

Munger: Divisional commissioner Lian Kunga on Monday raided the government gun factory and tried to know about the alleged supply of firearms into the hands of criminals from the factory.

Munger: A goods train derailed in the railway yard near Jamui railway station on Monday morning. No one was injured.
