Gaya: Police have started a probe into an FIR against former chief minister Jitan Ram Manjhi’s daughter Sunaina Devi in an alleged murder case.

Sunaina’s daughter-in-law Soni Kumari is missing since Saturday. Soni’s father said she was murdered and cremated for dowry and named Sunaina, her husband Yogendra Prasad, as accused. But Sunaina said Soni has fled with some money.

Chhapra: Relatives of Virendra Singh, who was shot dead on Sunday, staged a demonstration with his corpse in front of Saran superintendent of police Satya Veer Singh’s residence demanding the arrest of the criminals. Virendra was the sole eyewitness to the murder of his brother who was shot dead on December 12, 2009.
