Patna, Dec. 12: Police today caught one Pintu, who was accused of raping a woman last night.

Patna senior superintendent of police Manu Maharaaj said the woman was raped by him at his house in Raja Bazaar area.

Patna: National Lok Adalat was held on Saturday at Patna High Court and the district and sub divisional courts under the aegis of National Legal Services Authority and Bihar State Legal Services Authority, . A total of 93,477 pre litigation and 2,931 post litigation cases were disposed of.

Patna, Dec. 12: Public Awareness for Healthful Approach for Living (Pahal) director Dr Diwakar Tejaswi today gave scholarships to three students of Chadwan village in Saran.

The scholarships were given by Kiran Sharan, Manju Madhukar and Kumkum Sinha, and they will bear expenses of the schooling of the kids.

New rakes

Patna: East Central Railway on Saturday decided to run 12 passenger trains of Sonepur division with Demu (diesel electric multiple unit) rakes replacing existing conventional rakes. The new rakes would be allotted from December 15.
