Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, will send proposals to the directorate of science and technology of the Centre for promoting scientific and technological studies.

The varsity has zeroed in on nine constituent colleges, while consultations on three more are on. Six postgraduate departments — physics, chemistry, botany, zoology, electronics and mathematics — have been selected.

The directorate would sanction Rs 50 lakh to each college and postgraduate department to purchase scientific apparatus and gadgets.
