Patna, Dec. 15: A blue bull gave tense moments to the security personnel deployed at the Jaiprakash Narayan International Airport today when it entered the green area behind the Patna Met department office dodging them.

The animal first entered the airport premises through its main entrance.

When the security personnel of the airport chased the bull, it entered into the green area behind the Met office, adjacent to the airport, around 12noon.

The forest officials were immediately informed about the development. They reached the spot around 2.30pm. Around 5pm, they tamed the animal and took it back with them.

The airport security claimed that an alert was sounded immediately after the animal was sighted.

“Even though the animal was not found on the airport premises, all personnel were alerted. Apart from calling the officials of the forest department, we also ensured that the bull does not come out of the green area,” said a Central Intelligence Security Force official at Patna airport.

The news of a blue bull entering the green area behind the Patna Met department office spread like wildfire. Several onlookers reached the spot to see the animal. So did many journalists.
