Road project

Patna, Sept. 3: Road construction minister Nand Kishore Yadav will meet Union home minister Rajnath Singh in New Delhi on Monday over a matter related to the construction of a 557km road parallel to the India-Nepal border in Bihar. He will also meet Union minister of road construction and highways Nitin Gadkari for Bihar road projects.

Agro order

Patna: Agriculture minister Prem Kumar on Sunday directed officials to promote cultivation of oilseeds on fallow and non-irrigated land during the Rabi season by providing better quality seeds to farmers.

Farmer rally

Patna: Akhil Bharatiya Kisan Sangharsh Samanvay Samiti, which is coordinating 162 organisations of farmers and scheduled tribes on Sunday said 50,000 farmers from Bihar will in the rally in Delhi on November 20.

RJD entry

Patna: Under leadership of former RJD candidate from Gaya graduate constituency Punit Kumar Singh, many youths on Sunday took membership of RJD in presence of state unit president Ram Chandra Purbey. Purbey said youths are attracted towards the Janadesh Apman Yatra launched by Tejashwi Yadav and now they have decided to enter politics apart from continuing their studies.

Aadhaar order

Patna: Bihar School Examination Board has decided to make Aadhaar mandatory for the 2019 Intermediate and matriculation examinees. Board chairman Anand Kishor said information given in Aadhaar will be considered true and the step will help check examinees with different names and addresses.
