Ammo seizure

Munger: The police busted an inter-state gang of arms dealers and seized seven country-made pistols and 14 magazines during a raid at an under-construction bridge under the jurisdiction of Kotwali police station on Saturday. The police also arrested Mohammad Shanawaz, a resident of Shyamali in Uttar Pradesh. Shahnawaz also revealed the name of his associate Pappu, who was absconding.

Gang busted

Patna: Patna police on Saturday arrested six members of an inter-state vehicle-lifters gang and seized four luxury vehicles from their possession during a raid. Mohammad Raju, Sajid, Sabir, Meraj, Mohammad Afroz and Gautam Kumar Bhagat were involved in vehicle-thefts in Patna, Kahagaria and other adjoining districts. City SP Chandan Kushwaha said the raid was conducted on a tip-off that some members of the vehicle-lifters gang had assembled at Deedarganj in Patna City.
