Rights panel order

Patna: State Human Rights Commission on Tuesday issued a directive asking director of Ayush (ayurveda, yoga, unani, siddha and homoeopathy), health, and registrar of Bihar State Homoeopathy Medical Board to appear before it on May 30.

The directive was issued in the wake of denial of permanent registration for those who have completed BHMS (bachelor of homoeopathic medicine and surgery) course. One Nitesh Kumar of Muzaffarpur had approached the commission.

Murder case

Patna: A division bench of the high court reserved the order on Tuesday hearing bail plea of former minister and RJD leader Vijay Krishna and three others in connection with murder of one Satendra Singh in 2009.

HC directive

Patna: A high court division bench, hearing a PIL on Tuesday, filed by Narendra Mishra, directed the chief secretary to make available adequate employees to the PMC so that work to implement the building laws should not be hampered.

Fraud arrest

Patna: One Abhishek Kumar was arrested while trying to get into the Indian Air Force camp in Bihta posing as an officer.
