Siwan: Police recovered the bodies of two children, Khushi (7) and Anish (5), near a canal at Belore village on Sunday.

The children, residents of Murera village, had gone missing on Thursday. Their father had lodged an FIR accusing a relative, Ashwini Kumar, of abducting his children. Ashwini was taken into custody.

Silver seized

Patna: Silver bars weighing 47kg and Rs 1 lakh in cash were seized from Uttar Pradesh residents Upendra Kumar and Balvinder Singh while they waited for a train at Patna railway junction late on Saturday. The seized silver bars could be worth Rs 20 lakh in the international market.

Four killed

Motihari: Four persons were killed when an oil tanker collided with an SUV near Piprakothi in East Champaran district on Sunday. The tanker driver fled.
