Three employees of the customer care department of Essel Vidyut Vitran Limited — Sushil Kumar Singh, Anil Kumar and Manish Kumar — were thrashed and held captive for five hours at Balaji Hyundai Motors on Aamgola Road on Monday.

They lodged an FIR with Kazimohammadpur police station in the evening against the proprietor of Balaji Hyundai Motors, Madhav Kumar Singh, and five other employees of the showroom. The accused were absconding till the filing of this report. SHO Birendra Kumar said proper action would be initiated.
