Patna: The Central University of South Bihar (CUSB) has announced the admission process to 45 undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD courses for the 2018-19 academic session.
The university is launching six new courses: MBA, Master in Social Welfare (MSW), MCom, MSc physics, MSc chemistry and MA in history. It has received University Grants Commission (UGC) approval for the chemistry, physics and history courses while the approval for the three other courses is awaited.
Controller of examinations Rashmi Tripathi said: "The CUSB has invited applications through CUCET (Central Universities Common Entrance Test) 2018, which has 10 participating central universities along with Dr BR Ambedkar School of Economics in Bangalore."
The online application for all courses started on February 19. The last date for online applications is March 26. The examination will be held on April 28 and 29, and results will be declared on May 25. The university will start issuing admit cards from April 13.
Established in the year 2009 as the first central university in Bihar, the CUSB has an "A" grade from national higher-education institute grader NAAC.
