The Patna Dairy Project has made elaborate arrangements to meet the milk demand during Chhath.

Sudhir Kumar Singh, the managing director of Patna Dairy Project, said the firm had increased the supply of milk to 3 lakh tonnes for the occasion compared to 2 lakh tonnes on normal days.

Additional milk would be delivered to all the Sudha milk booths. Milk would be available in adequate volume in most of them.

The demand for milk is likely to double on Thursday on the occasion of Kharna.
