Abhayanand tutorial on cloud 'nine'

Nine students from Abhayanand Super 30 have cracked the IIT-Advanced examination the results of which were declared on Sunday. The successful candidates clearing the test included sons of a farmer and a private tutor among others. Prem Kumar has secured 2032 rank in the Advanced. Prem's elder brother Raj Kumar too is an IITian pursuing civil engineering from IIT-Mandi.

Patna: Nine students from Abhayanand Super 30 have cracked the IIT-Advanced examination the results of which were declared on Sunday. The successful candidates clearing the test included sons of a farmer and a private tutor among others. Prem Kumar has secured 2032 rank in the Advanced. Prem's elder brother Raj Kumar too is an IITian pursuing civil engineering from IIT-Mandi.

Prem's father Ramesh Sharma, a farmer at a Kanhiyachak village in Arwal district, said: "I am a proud father as both my sons have qualified for the IIT entrance. The contribution goes to Abhayanand Sir under whose right guidance both my sons have cracked IIT." Raj Kumar cracked the IIT last year.

Subham Kumar too cracked the entrance examination securing an all-India rank of 1006 while his category (SC) rank is 59. Subham, a resident of Bodhgaya said: "In 2016 after completing my matriculation from a private school in Bodhgaya, I got admission at Abhayanand Super 30 through an entrance test. All teachers, including Abhayanand Sir, personally took interest in every students' problems and gave special attention to weak students," said Prem.
