Munger, Feb. 14 (PTI): A Bihar court today sentenced two persons to life imprisonment in connection with kidnapping a schoolboy in Munger district in 2003.

Additional district and sessions judge P.K. Mallick found Faiyaz and Bhushan Mahto guilty of kidnapping Ankesh, son of an agricul ture scientist Abhay Manker, and awarded life term to them.

The court also slapped a fine of Rs 10,000 on each of them. Ankesh was kidnapped on his way to school here on September 18, 2003.

After holding him captive for 17 days, the kidnappers had released him following police pressure.
