Patna, Oct. 20: Aam Aadmi Party leader Parveen Amanullah today said the party would stage a dharna next month in protest against the failure of the Food Security Act in Bihar.

Amanullah, a national executive member and AAP’s Bihar spokesperson, said the dharna will go on for three days. The demonstration will start on November 26, the party’s foundation day.

Amanullah, the former state social welfare minister, said the dharna will start at R-Block roundabout to demand accountability of people involved in anomalies in the Food Security Act in Bihar.

Amanullah said: “Most of the nuclear families have been incorporated in the socio-economic caste census as joint families. On the basis of that, the supply list was formed, resulting in problems in the distribution of foodgrains.”
