Doctors in the city have asked residents to take care of their children in the run-up to Durga Puja because of the changing weather conditions. “Besides common cold and breathing problems, the residents are prone to suffer from mosquito-borne diseases like malaria and dengue. Gastroenteric disease, accompanied with diarrhoea, is another common problem among children at this time,” said Dr Rajiv Ranjan of Patna Medical College and Hospital.
