The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) seized gold bars worth over Rs 2 crore from a car at Fulbari here on Friday.

DRI sources said they had information that gold would be smuggled through the Siliguri corridor from the northeast. Accordingly, they intercepted a car — heading to Uttar Pradesh from northeast — at Fulbari in Siliguri.
