EXHIBITION

October 20 - 31 at Artisana, 13 Chowringhee Terrace, 1st floor; 10 am - 7.30 pm: Crafts Council of West Bengal presents Deepavali exhibition of terracotta lamps and garden accessories, and textiles from Bhagalpur, Chanderi and natural dye cotton fabrics. October 21 & 22 at The Park Banquet: Parampara Pret ? a pre-Diwali collection of fashionwear, jewellery and accessories. A charity fundraiser, organised by Rotary Club of Calcutta Chowringhee.

WORKSHOP

October 19 at Appayan, Chatterjeepara, Gobardanga, 24 Parganas; 10.30 am: Inauguration of a six-week Intensive Theatre Workshop (residential) organised by National School of Drama in association with Gobardanga Naksha. October 23 at Rashtriya Lalit Kala Kendra, 361 Keyatala Lane; 5.30 pm: Inauguration of Artist in Residency and workshop on enamel painting. Amitabha Banerjee will inaugurate and Nandadulal Mukherjee will be the resident artist. The workshop continues till October 26.
