Fourth Dimension is the name adopted by a group of seven artists who have just started out on a journey. It is journey towards a new horizon that is waiting to be explored, a journey in time. The artists have been drawn together in forming Fourth Dimension by their common love for painting, but that does not undermine their individuality as painters. Their works bear the marks of a distinct individuality that shines through their aesthetic recreations on their choice of mediums. The members of Fourth Dimension, namely Sandip Das (whose Childhood Memories in mixed media appears above), Chandan Mukherjee, Babul Dey, Sankhajit Jana, Gautam Chattopadhyay, Subrata Debnath and Indranil Banerjee, emerge on the painters’ platform with promises of lending a fresh dimension to the face of art.
