Calcutta: Schoolgirl Yubasana Kapas had started the TTIS Challenge 2018 with one objective: to participate in as many events as possible and have fun.
By the end of the journey four days later, the Class VIII student at Gokhale Memorial Girls' School had stamped her talent on as many as seven events to be adjudged the Champion of Champions Student.
TTIS Challenge 2018, presented by Subhas Bose Institute of Hotel Management in association with City Centre and CK Birla Hospitals, would have been an opportunity lost had Yubasana and her friend Adrija Mukherjee not convinced their teammates to enrol for the event.
The girls had been reluctant because examinations are around the corner. "I told them to just participate and have fun. The results were not on my mind even for once," Yubasana said.

The pocket-sized dynamite's favourite moment from the competition was the judge requesting her to repeat her performance during the prelims of X-Faktor because he wanted to hear the entire song. "It was a brilliant moment for me," Yubasana said.
Another happy team was Sunrise (English Medium) School. The institute was adjudged the Champion of Champions School. "This is the first time that we have won and I don't know how to express my joy. When we lost the Tug of War, we were so disheartened. I am proud of my teammates," Subham Singh, a Class XII student, said.
The Champion of Champions School received their award from actress Parno Mittra, who said: "The enthusiasm and energy here are incredible. Kudos to TTIS Challenge for providing such a big platform for the kids! Thanks to all this cheering, I might just go home deaf."
