ROYAL SAROVAR

On offer: Authentic Bengali fare with vegetarian and non-vegetarian buffet

Specialities: Starters like Rupashi Bangla (mixed fruit juice), Kancha Amer Sherbet (green mango juice), Abak Jalpan (mixture of coconut water and pineapple juice topped with vanilla ice-cream and sprinkled with coconut).

For vegetarians: Sukto, mochar ghonto, potoler dorma, purbhora aloor dum, doi kopi

Non-vegetarian: Chingri malaicurry, patay mora chingri bhappe, anarash-e Ilish, aam mangsho, kachi pathar jhol, murgi poshto

Rice: Scented Basmati, Pulao Rajdhani, Ilish Pulao besides phulko luchi and radha ballavi

Mughlai: Murg malai kali mirch, ajwain fish tikka, chicken haryali tikka, mutton nilgiri korma, andra mutton

KALPATARU PICE HOTEL

The nearly 30-year-old eatery — one of the oldest in Siliguri — is planning to have more than 10 varieties of fish in their puja special menu. Chital, Ilish, prawn, rohu, pabda, katla, ahar and goal maach are some from the list.

Non-vegetarian: Chicken and mutton kasha and chicken and mutton biryanis and pulao

VICTORIA JUNCTION

This purely vegetarian restaurant cum bakery has introduced Italian spread and a range of 30 mocktails and shakes especially for the pujas.

On offer: Barbecue pasta, Portuguese pasta, cheese pasta, chef’s special pasta

Mocktails: Blue Lagoon, green mint, Honeymoon, Hurricane, Pink Melon

Shakes: Strawberry, kesar pista, vanilla, banana

TAIWAH

On offer: Wanton soup, spring rolls, Manchurian pork, pork with vegetables, chilli pork, roasted pork with mushroom, black pepper chicken, garlic chicken, chilli chicken, American chopsuey and Chinese chopsuey.
