• The Parama-Park Circus flyover will act as a catalyst for the revival of the road transport system in the city and will help commuters avoid the perennial traffic snarl in the area. Waiting for ages in traffic snarls is ubiquitous to the city but hopefully things will change because of this colossal project. The government should take adequate steps to complete work on other flyovers as well.

What's in a name?
• I am against calling the flyover Ma (Ma for Manush to fly over Mati , October 13). Why Ma? Aren't there any other names? Any place should be named in a way that can help people easily identify it.
B. Ghosh
• Naming a flyover on a busy road as Ma clearly shows a bankruptcy of ideas and imaginations. As an Indian, we know our motherland as the other Ma after our own biological mother. I cannot think of a flyover as my Ma.
