Alipurduar, Jan. 7 : A tusker raided Purba Chakoakheti Primary School in Alipurduar block-I last night and ate the entire stock of foodgrain kept for the midday meal, reports our correspondent.

The school building also suffered heavy damage forcing students to attend classes in the playground nearby.

?Our supply for January was eaten up by the tusker,? a teacher of the school said.
