The seven winners of the Anandamela Milk Bikis presents Future Minds Scholarship. Students from over 100 schools from Calcutta took part in the competition, answering questions on their ambitions, what they would do if their dreams were fulfilled and why. The finals saw 105 students compete in seven categories — medicine, engineering, art, music, science, sports and acting. The children were given the opportunity to spend a day with a mentor from the chosen field. The mentors included Bikash Sinha, Subrata Maitra, Sabyasachi Chakraborty and Sambaran Banerjee. The finalists had to pen their experiences and the winners were selected on the basis of the best answers.

TTIS Tigers cut a cake to mark its 10th anniversary at Jamboree 2013. It was a day of awards, fun and frolic for the cub reporters. “I am very happy to have won the award with my best friend. I was telling him yesterday that if I won I would break my award into two and give one to him. I am glad he has also won,” said Ishita Roy, a Class XII student at Hirendra Leela Patranavis School and Tiger of the Year 2012-2013 along with Kalicharan Shaw.
